A listed, 14th century priory with listed, 16th et 18th century outbuildings and 1 hectare of land in the French department of Orne.
In the heart of a small commune, abounding in castles and manor houses, in a valley with the river Touques running through it; a river that runs as far as Deauville before flowing into the English Channel.
5 minutes from an extremely lively, medium-sized town. There are schools, local markets, shops, craftsmen, a hospital, chemists and doctors in the immediate surroundings.
2 hours from Paris, 30 minutes from Lisieux, Bernay and L'Aigle, the train stations of which are less than 80 minutes from Paris-Saint-Lazare and Paris-Montparnasse.
The village is set out around the 19th century church with its 16th century priory and its outbuildings.
Everything is located above the road with a 360° view over the Touques Valley and the river.
Visitors can find this priory standing at the end of a driveway, after passing a barn and a bread oven on either side, followed by a house.
The alleyway continues to a second entrance that provides access to presshouse and a cowshed.

The 14th century prioryWith French MH listing, this 14th century priory is built of dressed stone and hewn flint with an asbestos cement slate roof.
Numerous openings have been walled up, certainly concealing tracery such as that still to be seen on the north facade.
The ground floor has triangular arched openings. Others, upstairs, are topped with weather moulding archivolts and sculpted heads.
Remnants of an external balustrade are still to be seen on the east gable wall near to walled up doors.
Three, two-tone coats-of-arms adorn the point of the west gable wall.
Inside, the upstairs flooring has disappeared as has an access via an outside wooden stairway which should be on the east gable wall.
Mural paintings, including a frieze of coats-of-arms, can still be seen upstairs.
Jambs with columns topped with sculpted capitals from an old fireplace remain upstairs on the north gable wall. A relieving arch from another fireplace, no longer in existence, is still visible.
The inside spans a floor surface area of approx. 110 m².
A temporary lean-to has been erected on the west gable wall.
The outbuildingsThe priory was transformed into a farm over the centuries with the addition of various outbuildings that currently go to make up this property.
All are in need of restoration works.
- The bread oven, with brick facades as well as a sheet metal roof and spanning a floor surface area of approx. 26 m², encompasses a bakery and a cellar.
- A listed half-timbered barn with flint lower sections, a stone south gable wall and a slate roof, takes up a floor surface area of approx. 120 m².
- A cowshed, also with French MH listing, topped by a hayloft with wood and cob half-timbered facades on flint lower sections and a natural slate roof, spans approx. 120 m².
- The listed presshouse, with a charreterie where carriages were once kept, has half-timbered facades on flint lower sections, a brick south gable wall and a slate roof. It spans a floor surface area of approx. 90 m².
The property also has a well.

Group of buildings
The outbuildings, featuring similar architecture with masonry filler and cob half-timbering, the bread oven alone having brick facades, are spread out around the priory.
Each outbuilding essentially comprises one room.
The houseThe house, with its brick masonry facades and its natural slate roof, awaits full restoration works.
Spanning approx. 178 m² of living space, the levels comprise:
- five rooms including the extension on the ground floor.
- a landing and three rooms on the 1st floor.
